Stenoza mitrala este definita ca fiind o modificare a orificiului mitral, produsa de sudarea valvulelor cu ingustarea orificiului, blocand scurgerea sângelui din atriu în ventriculul stâng si duce la scaderea debitului ventriculului stâng.

Semne si simptome:
– pulsul mic,tensiune mica
– palpitatii frcvente
– astenie
– edeme periferice
