Miopia reprezinta imposibilitatea de a distinge clar obiectele aflate la o distanta mai mare.Prima etapă a vederii este crearea unei imagini pe retină, in miopie insa, focalizarea este în fața retinei.

Semne si simptome:
– nu se disting clar obiectele aflate la o distanta mai mare
– se disting bine doar obiectele aflate la o distanta mica
– vederea incetosata, neclara
– frecvent dureri de cap
